Truck Accidents Still Plague Our Borough

Despite numerous efforts from PennDOT, SEDCO, and the borough, truck crashes are still a problem in our little town. In the early morning hours on Saturday, January 5, 2019, it happened again. A tractor trailer looking for the WalMart DC failed to listen to numerous “NO TRUCKS” signs and ended up coming down the Gordon Mountain with disastrous results. This comes after a 3 year break in crashes. The last period of accidents occurred in September of 2015, which resulted in 3 crashes in 3 consecutive days. Hopefully this weekends events won’t be the start of more accidents.
